Major routes easily accessible from the development include the A228, which links the village with Strood, West Malling, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells; the A2 for the M25, south and central London, Sittingbourne, Canterbury and Dover, and the M2 for Faversham. Strood and Rochester train stations are both around four miles from Nightingale Rise, with regular trains running to Folkestone, Dover, Ebbsfleet International, Stratford International, London Bridge, London Charing Cross and London St Pancras International, among many other destinations.
